1. Trademark registration

In Morocco, registration is done at the OMPIC; the institution responsible for the protection of industrial and commercial property rights, in 6 steps.
2. Products registration
Then, you are required to register your company at the DMP (Moroccan board of therapeutic goods) for as a manufacturer, importer and/or distributor of cosmetics and personal hygiene products. This department is affiliated with the Ministry of Health, they provide the market entry compliance authorization in Morocco, you just have to complete and submit the necessary forms on their website.
And finally, it is important that your products are manufactured in accordance with the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The manufacturing of cosmetic products is subject to compliance with the ISO 22716 standard.
3. Labels and certificates
Later on, if you wish to integrate environmental protection at each stage of your production, or to develop socially responsible branches, other certifications exist, such as the labels ‘Bio’, ‘Ecocert’, ‘Vegan’, or ‘Cruelty Free’.
