Where does sweet almond oil come from?

From its INCI: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil, sweet almond oil comes from first cold pressing. The part of the plant that is extracted is the almond from the fruit, and to get 1 kg of oil, you need about 2 kg of blanched almonds. It has a characteristic smell, with hints of hazelnut and sweet almond, and has a greasy feel.

It owes its particularity to its composition rich in fatty acids: vitamin F, linoleic acid (omega 6), omega 9, and oleic acid, as well as soiled assets: phytosterols, triacylglycerides, triterpenic alcohols. It also contains vitamins B, D and E that promote acceleration of cellular repair.

It is particularly recommended for dry, coarse, crimped, brittle, split hair, for frizzy and afro hair, colored hair, and against dandruff.
